21st Annual Wild West Relay

Thanks for volunteering to help during the Wild West Relay! The smooth running of the race is largely dependent on your efforts, so thank you!

Volunteers and/or Team Captains will be able to sign up their volunteers starting June 7, 2024. The non-profits are assigned their locations in advance. Team captains and/or supplied volunteers will be able to select their assignment on this race website under the Volunteer Sign Up tab starting June 7, 2024. A volunteer must register in the Volunteer Sign Up tab to be able to select their assignment.  A Team Captain and/or a Volunteer that signs up must use a unique email address to sign a waiver and receive important communication leading up to WWR. Please understand it is first come/first serve basis for the team volunteers.

As the close of registration approaches, the number of volunteers needed at each exchange, and the times the exchanges are staffed in table below will be updated. The minimum number of volunteers at any exchange is two (2).

**2024 WWR Exchange maps/points (location, notes, layout) are being updated and will be available shortly. Stay tuned.

Once available, you should review these notes so you know what to expect before you show up for your shift. There will be a notebook at the exchange with these maps and notes.


Please print out and read the Volunteer Handbook (PDF file) which explains what to bring, what to expect, and more. You can find the Volunteer Handbook by clicking by clicking on Volunteer >> Important (Forms, Maps, Etc).

When your volunteer signs up through the Volunteer Sign Up tab it will prompt them to sign a waiver. If you need to substitute your supplied volunteer/s please email the run.Colorado Relay Team to complete substitution and have the new volunteer sign a waiver. 

The following chart shows which exchanges were staffed by the non-profit groups funded by the team's donations and which exchanges were staffed by the volunteers supplied by teams last year. These allotments are dependent on the number of teams that register, and the number of teams that choose to supply volunteers or choose the non-profit volunteer option, so it could change this year.

***The 2024 Volunteer Schedule will be finalized and sent out via email with adequate time to prepare for WWR.
