The Wild West Relay covers 200 scenic miles, with 36 legs, beginning in the foothills of beautiful Fort Collins before sending runners deep into the heart of the Rocky Mountains, over two mountain passes and finishing in Steamboat Springs, CO.
This life changing relay road race is a team-oriented adventure with experiences and views you'll never forget. Each team consists of either twelve runners and two vehicles (the vast majority of the teams) or six runners and one vehicle (Ultra teams), or an odd amount of runners of any other quantity.

IMPORTANT REGISTRATION INFORMATION:
Team Captains will be responsible for starting the registration process. Team Captains will register themselves along with creating their team and team password during their registration. Team captains will be paying in full for the teams registration fees (teams can work out splitting payments offline). You do not need a full team at the time of your Team Captain registering your team. Once the team captain registers the team, they will receive their email registration confirmation that will have important information, payment option information if they choose to have Windsor Gives supply volunteers, and directions on how to have your additional team members register. If teams are making a tax-deductible donation to Windsor Gives to supply volunteers, you will receive an invoice through Stripe within 72 hours of the Team Captains registration. The Team Captain will be responsible for choosing from two (2) volunteer options:
Option 1: Supply Volunteers: 12 person teams will supply three (3) volunteers; Ultra teams and High School teams will supply one (1) volunteer to staff the runner exchanges.
Option 2: Teams can choose to make a tax-deductible donation to Windsor Gives, 501(c)3 non-profit to support with providing volunteers for the relay. With Option 2, Windsor Gives will email the Team Captain an invoice through Stripe, within 72 hours of the team captains registration to submit your donation via credit card, check or money order. **The Team Captain is the only one who chooses the teams volunteer option during the registration process and who pays the registration fees. Additional team members should have no fees at the end of their registration/joining the appropriate team.
