UNITED WAY 2-1-1

Having a hard time finding 3 volunteers? Make a difference, while having fun! Every team is required to provide 3 volunteers - the Wild West Relay has an alternative for you that will also help out non-profit organizations in our communities. By making a tax-deductible donation, volunteers will be provided for your team. By choosing this option, you will be supporting non-profit organizations and groups between Fort Collins and Steamboat Springs.

One non-profit organization, United Way 2-1-1, a division of the United Way of Larimer County, will be coordinating all the volunteers from the participating non-profit groups, thus 100% of your tax-deductible supplemental fee will be going to support these local organizations.

If you have questions about this option or if you know of a non-profit group that might like to be involved with the Wild West Relay as a fund-raising opportunity, contact United Way 2-1-1 at 970-402-7054 or email Julie Phillips at

ABOUT YOUR DONATION

Your tax-deductible donation will go to directly support United Way 2-1-1 and other non-profit groups and organizations in Colorado.

Since 1996 , United Way 2-1-1 continues to connect with families in Northwestern Colorado to find the help they need and the volunteer opportunities where they can make a difference. United Way strives to enhance the lives of people by providing timely, accurate, and caring community resource information and referral to community members and non-profit organizations.

Imagine getting a shut off notice for your electricity, but not being able to pay the bill. Where would you go if you needed to get help for your elderly mother? Who would you turn to if your friend were recently diagnosed with cancer? What would you do if your child decided they wanted to make a difference and volunteer? Finding the answers to these questions does not have to be hard.

Approximately 13,000 individuals per year contact United Way 2-1-1 to find the help they need and to volunteer in the community. One call provides the answers that make a difference and so does your donation.

For more information about United Way 2-1-1, visit their web site or contact them at 970-407-7054.
