Location: Intersection of US 287 and Red Feather Lakes Rd Runner Crossing
Directions:
You will need to go to Exchange 6 to pick up your equipment.
From I-25 - Get off I-25 at the Fort Collins Mulberry Street exit (Exit 269B). Go west on Hwy 14 (Mulberry St) for 4 miles to Hwy 287 (College Ave.) in downtown Fort Collins. Then:
From downtown Fort Collins: Go north on Hwy 287 (College Ave). Go north on Hwy 287 for 21 miles to Red Feather Lakes Road. You'll see "The Forks" restaurant at this turnoff. Turn left (west) onto Red Feather Lakes Road (also known as Larimer County Road 74E) and go for .3 miles and you'll see the Livermore Elementary School on your right.
Volunteer Parking: Park on the south side of the road in the dirt pullout behind the stop sign.

Runner Monitor - 2; assist with the safe crossing of the runners across Hwy 1. R1 will instruct runner to go to R2 and to wait until R2 gives clearance to cross. R2 will hold runner until it is safe for runner to cross Hwy 1. Speed limit is 55 MPH so make sure it is clear in both directions.
Exchange Notes:
You will need to go to Exchange 6 to pick up your equipment and if you need to use facilities - it is less than a half mile from this location.
There will be a Colorado State Patrolman with their cruiser to assist. Make a note of the bib number of any runner who does wait and follow your instructions. They should NOT run along the right shoulder to cross when they feel like it. She should cross Hwy 1 in a straight line rather than diagonally. Instruct all runners that if they do not follow your instructions, their team will be disqualified.
